St. Joseph Catholic School in Fergus raised $5700 during their Sponsored Family Fundraiser Event!
Students worked together to raise funds for families in need this Christmas. In turn, students had the opportunity to play soccer, floor hockey and create crafts and cards that will be delivered to the community and local nursing homes.
Michael Burt, organizing teacher of the event, shared that over the last 13 years the campaign has raised near $60,000! In past years, Burt would bring along students to shop for toys and other gifts for community members - however, with the latest environment Burt will be purchasing gift cards to give to families.
